RAM Expedition scheduled in Coachella Valley

The RAM California 2013 Expeditions held in Indio, CA in April was a success. Between RAMUSA, RAM-CA, and Goldenvoice along with CALAOMS, The Flying Doctors and all of the professional and non-professional volunteers, were able to provide 12,210 much needed services to 2,770 patients, for a total cost of services provided estimated at 1.05 million dollars.

The breakdown of the expedition is as follows:

Calif. Now Allows Out-of-State Medical Volunteers

On December 7, 2012 a new regulation, implementing Business and Professions Code Section 901, will go into effect. This regulation governs the requirements and procedures to authorize out-of-state medical practitioners with valid, current, and active licenses to participate in sponsored free health care events in California.  If you are an out of state medical professional and would like to volunteer for RAM California Expeditions, please visit the Out of State Volunteers page for more information.

Oakland and Sacramento Clinics a Huge Success

The RAM California 2012 Expeditions held in Oakland in March and Sacramento in April were hugely successful. Between both clinics, RAMUSA, RAM-CA, and the Tzu Chi Foundation, along with all of the professional and non-professional volunteers, were able to provide 23,428 much needed services to 6,114 patients, for a total cost of services provided estimated at 2.3 million dollars.
