Patient hours at the clinic are 5:30am – approximately 6:00pm. See the guide below to determine when you should arrive at the clinic. The clinic will end approximately 6:00pm. Please note, if you cannot volunteer for these specific times, please arrive when you can. If you need to leave before 6:00pm, please inform the lead volunteer or coordinator in your area upon arrival for the day. This will assist us in determining how many patients can be seen each day.
Please read any attached orientation guides prior to arriving at the clinic for information specific to your area, by clicking on the area heading highlighted in red below. You may also print these forms as well.
General Volunteers: Non-Professional Volunteers. Plan to arrive between 5:00am - 5:30am for your volunteer assignment. For those of you working in patient registration, please be there by 5:00 for training, (requires some basic computer skills.) Although we will do our best to honor general volunteers position requests, general volunteers will be assigned duties when they arrive based on our greatest need at the time.
Triage professionals: RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and EMTs, Plan to arrive no later than 5:00 am. Orientation will begin promptly at 5:15 am. If you have - please bring a BP cuff, stethoscope, and a watch with a second hand (required.)
Medical Volunteers: Plan to arrive no later than 6:15 am for an orientation meeting at 6:30 am.
Dentists and Dental Volunteers: Plan to arrive no later than 6:00 am for an orientation meeting at 6:15 am.
Vision Volunteers: Plan to arrive no later than 6:15 am for an orientation meeting at 6:30 am.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks will be provided for volunteers: Please check with your floor leader for break times.
Dress: Modest, comfortable attire, casual professional (scrubs are acceptable), comfortable closed toe shoes.
